This privacy policy describes how Amply, operated by HiCards SARL (hereinafter “we”), collects, uses and protects personal data in connection with the use of mobile applications generated via the Amply service (hereinafter “the Applications”).

Each Application can be customized for a specific event or organizer, but the infrastructure and data management are provided by Amply.

1. Data controller

Amply acts as a technical processor on behalf of event organizers who use its platform to create their Applications.
The data controller is therefore the organizer of the corresponding event, identified in the legal notices of the Application.

2. Data collected

Depending on the configuration of each Application, the following data may be collected:
- Usage data: pages viewed, favorites, interactions, event sessions viewed
- Technical data: device model, operating system, advertising identifier, IP address (for statistical and security purposes)

Amply never collects sensitive data (e.g. health, political opinions, sexual orientation, etc.).

3. Purposes of processing

The data are used to:
- Ensure the proper functioning of the Applications and related services
- Allow organizers to manage their events
- Send notifications or information related to the event
- Improve the quality and security of the Amply service
- Produce anonymized usage statistics

4. Data sharing and hosting

Data is securely hosted on servers located in the European Union (or in regions offering an equivalent level of protection).

Amply may share certain data with:
- Event organizers using the platform (within the strict scope of the relevant event)
- Technical service providers necessary for the proper functioning of the service (hosting, push notifications, analytics, etc.)

No data is sold to third parties.

5. Data retention

The data are retained:
- For the duration of the relevant event,
- Then archived or deleted no later than 12 months after the end of the event, unless otherwise required by law.

6. Your rights

In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and applicable laws:
- You may access, correct, delete, or request portability of your data.
- You may object to certain processing activities (e.g. sending notifications).

7. Security

Amply implements strict technical and organizational measures to protect data against any unauthorized access, loss or alteration, including:
- Encryption of communications (HTTPS)

Amply Applications may use third-party services for certain features (e.g. Firebase, Google Analytics, ticketing or payment systems).
Each third-party service applies its own privacy policy, available on its website.

9. Changes to the policy

Amply reserves the right to modify this policy at any time for legal, technical, or organizational reasons.
